Tara is a compassionate and skilled Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, and families in both community mental health and school-based settings. With over four years of clinical work, she has a strong foundation in trauma-informed care and is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, whether they’re in acute crisis or simply seeking a space for growth, reflection, and emotional wellness.
Tara has worked closely with high-risk youth, including those facing housing instability, gang involvement, and justice system engagement. She is also highly experienced in school-based mental health, where she provided individual and group therapy, managed on-campus wellness centers, and supported students through academic and personal stressors.
In her work, Tara draws from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while tailoring treatment to meet the unique needs of each client. She creates a supportive and collaborative environment where clients can work through anxiety, depression, trauma, identity exploration, relationship challenges, and life transitions.
Tara welcomes clients from all walks of life, including those who may not be in crisis but are looking to build coping skills, enhance self-awareness, or maintain emotional balance. Whether you’re navigating a difficult time or simply want a safe place to reflect and grow, Tara is here to support you and offers in-person or virtual sessions.
