Rogeline Amo is a seasoned Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of experience. Early in her career, she worked at a domestic violence shelter and crisis hotline. Rogeline’s role included providing direct care plus support to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University. Later in her career, Rogeline received certification in bereavement facilitation and worked at a well established hospice. She is qualified to help individuals from all walks of life who are adjusting to grief, loss, anxiety, depression & situational stressors.
Rogeline practices a strength-based, solution-focused approach that employs ACT (acceptance and commitment), CBT (cognitive behavioral), and DBT (dialectical behavior) therapies. She works with clients to explore their potential, restore hope, and empower them. By utilizing resources that are already in place, she believes they can heal, grow, & ultimately thrive in their process.
She works with Aetna insurance and she also works with Victims of Crime cases through CalVCB, ensuring greater access to care for those who need it.
